We will be backpacking on the Arizona Trail on passage 40, in the Kaibab National Forest, between the Telephone Hill Trailhead and the trailhead at the north boundary of the Grand Canyon National Park. We will be backpacking, carrying all of our supplies and camping along the trail. We will be exploring, playing games and learning some basic wilderness survival skills as we hike. We will be hiking and exploring for 3-4 miles each day. Teens should be able to walk for these distances, and carry their own pack weighing 20-30 pounds.

The cost of this adventure is only $200 per youth and includes all the food, use of a backpack and tent. You just need to bring a compact sleeping bag (and sleeping pad if you want), your clothes and your personal items. We will send you more details and a suggested packing list after you register.
