Friday Adventure Club will meet 2 Fridays each month during September, October and November. Sept 20, 27, Oct 4, 18, Nov 1, 15 from 9am-2pm. 

We will be kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, playing at Wahweap Creek, exploring local canyons and rock formations, and playing outdoor nature themed games. Our Adventure Club offers opportunities for nature connection through nature immersion. Students will engage in activities that cultivate character and confidence, as well as improving social and emotional health and well-being. 

Some of the skills and experiences the students will be exposed to are:

• Water recreation safety
• Paddling safety and basic paddling skills
• Leave No Trace outdoor stewardship principles
• Recreating Responsibly
• Water and land ecology and natural history
• Awareness of the importance of healthy diversity in human ecosystems and natural ecosystems

Lunch will be included. Van transportation to all of our activity locations will be provided.

Program cost is $275. Some scholarships are available that pay $75 of the 6-day program tuition. You can also make 3 payments of $100 each month.
