Wild Canyon Discovery is a nonprofit organization and is able to offer youth paddling camps at a lower cost than commercial camps in other places.
We also realize that even at $150 or $200, this camp fee can still be out of reach for some local families. We have half price camp scholarships available because of generous donations made to our organization.

Garkane Energy has donated $1000 in scholarship money for youth in the Garkane Energy service area, which is mostly in Southern Utah.

Janet Brown and Lake Powell Communications has also donated $1000 in scholarship money for youth in Page, Az and the nearby Navajo Nation land.

All of our camps and scholarships are only for local youth in the
Southern Utah and Northern Arizona region. Please do not apply for a
scholarship or register your child for camp if you do not live in this area!! 

Scholarship money is limited, so please only apply for a scholarship if
paying the full price camp tuition is a hardship for your family!

Scholarship money is applied directly to your online camp registration
payment as a coupon code. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be given the 
coupon code to use during the payment process. Getting a scholarship does not guarantee camp registration. Registration is dependent on space availability and 
payment of the remaining half of the camp fee.

We do have a few scholarships that can pay 3/4 of the tuition.
An in-person interview is required for those scholarships.
