This is a 1-day Community Paddling Program for locals from Southern Utah.  This will be from 12pm to 3pm. Transportation from Big Water to Wahweap at Lake Powell is included with this program. We will meet at the empty parking lot next to Hwy 89 on Ethan Allen, across from the new RV Resort store at 12pm AZ time. Young people under 16 yrs old must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.

We will spend the afternoon having fun, learning to safely using kayaks and paddle boards on Lake Powell. We will be based at the Wahweap main launch ramp and paddling out from there to practice our skills and explore the Wahweap Bay area. This boat ramp is currently closed for motorized boat launching because of low lake levels and is only used for hand launching kayaks and paddle boards.
