Colorado River Youth Stewardship Camp - June 17-18, 2025
We will be getting to know the Colorado River in Glen Canyon from the dam to Lees Ferry and seeing why this is such an amazing place! Learning stewardship principles and exploring this local riparian ecosystem are the focus of this overnight river camp for local youth ages 10-16.

About the event
Join us for this epic, 2 day/ 1-night Colorado River Teen Stewardship Camp with river floating for local youth ages 10-16 years old. This program will be on the Colorado River in Glen Canyon in the area just below the dam to Lee's Ferry. Teens will be supervised and guided at all times. Camp cost is $200 each to cover backhaul and food costs. Participants should have some previous paddling experience, but it is not required.
We will pick up teen in Page, AZ and transport them to Lees Ferry on the morning of June 17. We will be getting a backhaul or boat tax ride upriver from Lees Ferry, at noon from Kayak Horseshoe Bend, with all of our boats and camping gear. We will be dropped off upriver just below the dam, at about 1pm and then load our own gear on our kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes…
