About the event
Join us for this epic, one day women's river stewardship program for local women from Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. This program will be on the Colorado River in Glen Canyon, floating and paddling from near the dam, downriver to Lee's Ferry. The program cost on a sliding scale from $100-$150. This includes the cost of the backhaul upriver, transportation from Page and food costs. Participants should have some previous paddling experience, but it is not required.
We will pick up everyone up in Page, AZ at 8am AZ time and transport them to Lees Ferry on the morning of Saturday, May 31. We will be getting a backhaul or boat tax ride upriver from Lees Ferry, with all of our boats and day trip gear. We will be dropped off upriver just below the dam and then load our gear on our kayaks and paddle boards and start floating…
